Applied Behavior Analysis

The Course Sequence and/or Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis Program is designed to prepare professionals to plan, implement and evaluate interventions using applied behavior analytic techniques. Anyone can enroll, but to be eligible for the BCBA® credential, individuals must already hold a Master’s degree or complete the coursework in conjunction with a Master’s degree in an approved area: behavior analysis or other natural science (such as psychology), education (including special education), human services, health sciences, or another field related to behavior analysis approved by the Board.

This program is available entirely online nationwide and in approved international areas.

The WVU Applied Behavior Analysis Program offers two options:

NOTE: Only individuals who document that they have already earned a Master’s degree in an approved area or are currently enrolled at WVU or another university maybe admitted to the Coursework Only program option.

WVU is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and the ABA course sequence is approved by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB®) as the course component for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®) credential.
